各位同学，我们在此为大家呈献2015年4月12日的托福独立写作预测机经，详细的例证技巧在上课的过程中已经进行过详细阐述，只要在主题句后面跟随“解释”以及“编故事”即可，在编故事的环节注意把背景、时间、地点、人物、事件、起因、经过和结果都讲清楚。在此，我们基本上只为大家提供解题思路以及具体的理由，唯独第三题给大家提供了详细的解题思路，方便大家复习独立写作的写作技巧。切记，并不是说复杂的思维模式就能比简单的思维模式更能拿到高分，因为托福写作考察的重点是“语言流利度”和“语言地道性”，备考过程千万不要一味追求例证理由的深刻性。

复习备考提醒：

（1）开头段结构：“引出现象/引出原因/定义抽象词…”+“引出争论”+“表明观点”

（2）理由段结构：“段落引导词”+“主题句”+“解释”+“例证引导词”+“例证”

（3）让步段结构：“段落引导词”+“提出反方观点及理由”+“过渡转折”+“反驳反方观点及理由”

（4）结尾段结构：“综上所述”+“总结归纳”+“展望建议”

【注：理由段“例证”环节，参考上课所讲的“故事主题”、“故事结局”、“故事开端”、“情节点I和II”的技巧进行例证的编撰。】

1、 In times of an economic crisis, in which area should the government reduce its spending? 1. Education 2. Health Care 3.support for the unemployed.

此题为典型的三选一题型，与二选一体型不同，这类题型有三种文章结构的布局方法：

（1）任意选一个选项，写二至三个理由段；

（2）任意选一个选项，写二个理由段加一个让步段；

（3）任意选一个选项论述选择它的理由；再将不选择剩下两个选项的理由分两个段落进行论述。

参考立场：A

理由1：减少医疗补助的话，病人无法接受及时的治疗；

理由2：减少失业补助的话，社会稳定会受到影响。

2、 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In the busy and crowded world today, we should not expect people to be polite to each other.

【破题思路】分情况讨论：在经济发达地区和在经济落后地区的情况是不一样的

（1）在经济发达地区，只有当大家都expect others to show politeness，自己才会show courtesy，这样一来才能更好地展示城市文明度。

（2）在经济欠发达地区，不应该太重视礼貌，因为这毕竟是属于精神层面的东西，当地人大多更关注与日常生活相关的事务，一旦过于强调让他们遵守礼仪，可能会导致不必要的冲突。例子：在偏远地区买票不一定非要排队。

3、 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? We should state our honest opinions even though other people may disagree with them.

【解题流程】

（1）把agree和disagree的理由都想一遍；

case by case: fields, time, scope, hierarchy

1.生活中与朋友的沟通；2.商业场景

agree: 1.友谊长久；2.受到上司的赏识

disagree: 1.伤害别人的小宇宙；2.被炒鱿鱼

（2）选立场；

 【引出背景】Sharing different values, life philosophy and world outlook, people always hold different opinions toward the same issue.【引出争论】When other people can not agree with them, a vast majority of people insist that telling a lie or keep silent are advantageous insofar as these behaviors help people to keep from hurting others and being fired; however,【表明观点】I believe that expressing honest opinions is better.

（5）写结尾段；

In conclusion, one may reasonably advance the claim that giving honest suggestions is more beneficial; that permanent friendship can be maintained; and that employees will get more opportunities to be promoted.

1.To begin with, giving honest opinions to friends is so crucial when it comes to making friendship everlasting.【因果链解释-How/Why/When】When friends conduct themselves undesirably and make fatal mistakes, most people are unwilling to tell the truth because of indifference and selfishness. In this case, as long as I state honest opinions, I am bound to win friends’ trust and enjoy a deep friendship.

2.Furthermore, it is stating honest opinions that enables merchants to boost their business.【添加修饰语解释-定语/状语】Believe it or not/To the considerable extent/In the current society, it is frankly stating honest opinions including comments on work style, working attitude, and interpersonal relationship that enables ambitious merchants to boost their business, making it possible for employees to better realize self-actualization.

（7）写理由段的“例证”。

情节点II: 偶尔有一天，我在逛街的时候，发现了那个男的跟另外一个女的在一起。我拿出手机拍视频，事后，给我的闺蜜看。事实证明......从那以后，我的闺蜜就一直很信任我了。

开端：real estate；bidding；railway, over 100 million RMB，竞争激烈，有多少17家公司在竞争。

主角：员工、老板（my neighbor Jennifer Roberts, Thailand, 2012, graduated from university, construction; Richard Smith）

情节点：Richard坚持要bribery， official，然而，最近风声很紧，investigation；Jennifer也知道这样做有很大风险，但是她屈从老板的安排，没有把自己真实的想法说出来给老板听。

结局：蹲监狱、自杀

4、 Using clean energy to protect the environment, but the traditional energy sources such as coal and oil is less expensive.

   参考立场：clean energy

理由1：污染少，保护环境；

理由2：资源丰富，可以大量的使用。

5、 Society benefits more from works of great artists than from political leaders.

题目解析：这是比较对比型题。需要论证的是社会从好的艺术家的作品中获得的好处比从政治领导那里得到的更多。进一步拓展思维的话，我们可以继续发问：自己究竟同意/不同意？同意/不同意的理由是什么？如果同意，艺术家的作品对社会有什么积极作用？ 

参考思路：Disagree

开头段：Political leaders是一个国家发展战略的决策者，也是一个国家形象的代表，对社会发展有举足轻重的作用。From my perspective, I believe that society benefits more from political leaders than works of great artists.

理由一：To begin with, 政治领导负责做出国家发展战略，influence every aspect of the society, including the art industry. 政府领导人的工作是很难让人替代的。举例：邓小平提出科教兴国战略，大大促进中国的发展。一个好的领导人的wise strategy will have a profound influence on国家发展模式。

理由二：Secondly, political leaders represent the images of their countries. 他们还起到精神领袖的作用，give spiritual support to citizens. 从价值观上影响着social members。举例：中国领导人朱镕基很朴素，倡导了社会廉政之风。

让步段：Admittedly, 艺术家作为整体也对社会发展起推动作用。举例：文艺复兴促成社会变革。However，这些都是积累时间过长的，而政治领导人对社会的影响是最直接的。

结尾段：Overall, I disagree with the statement that society benefits more from works of great artists than from political leaders. 他们为社会发展制定战略，并且以身作则，倡导正确价值观，更能促进社会高速发展。

6、 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers were more appreciated and valued by the society in the past than they are now.

参考思路：不同意

开头段：背景+争论：As the economy and technology develop at an incredible speed in today’s society, there are an increasing number of people believing that the most important problems affecting our society today could be solved within our lifetime. 观点：In my view, however, this is out of the question and the three most significant problems affecting the society, namely war, environmental destruction and disease, will still influence us and may not be entirely resolved forever.

理由段一：战争问题一直困扰着人类，只要有利益冲突战争就会存在。例证：中东水资源问题。War is a problem afflicting humans since they took into being in the first place. Wars take place when different countries have conflicting benefits（利益冲突）, which is unlikely to be eliminated as long as the boundaries between countries still exist. For instance, in the Middle East where water is extremely scarce, many countries are in conflict in contention for water resources. Since every country acts for the sake of its own benefit, it seems that people in the region are incapable of living together in harmony. Eternal world peace, therefore, is unlikely to be achieved in our lifetime.

理由二：环境破坏很严重，不可忽视。

Environmental destruction emerged not long before but it is becoming increasingly severe and can not be ignored. With the large-scale utilization of fossil fuels and rapid development of industry, huge amounts of pollutants are being produced, contaminating the environment to a large degree（经典环保句子）. The disposal of these pollutants being a tough task, it is hardly possible that we can completely get rid of them within a short period of time. Furthermore, even if we can come up with optimal methods for dealing with these substances, there remains the problem that these methods may cost too much and obstruct the development of economy.

Last but not least, the well-being of people around the world is threatened by a variety of diseases, ranging from AIDS to cancer, the cures for which have not been discovered yet. Diseases set off panics among humans, affect their normal life and leave people badly off with the high medical expenses（因巨额医疗花费而变贫困）. There are thousands of scientists devoting themselves to致力于 此处to是介词 finding cure for diseases, but new types of diseases keep emerging and there is no eliminating all of them.

In summary, the problems with the most significance today are going to be passed on to our offspring. 

结尾段：解决这些问题还需要花费很长时间。To eliminate these problems thoroughly, there is still a long way to go.

14、 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The most important things people learn are from their families.

立场：分情况讨论

agree的情况：在专业知识领域，不需要跟老师表达异议。（1）当家长自己对专业知识也不熟悉的情况下，可能自己对老师的教育方法也不够了解，因此没有必要去提出自认为正确的方法；（2）当家长对专业知识足够了解的情况下，等孩子放学后自己在家再单独指导即可。

disagree的情况：在个人道德修养方面，这个不需要专业知识的判断，属于commen sense层次的问题，一旦家长发现老师教育方式不妥，应当立即提出意见。

解题思路二：

立场:分情况讨论

中间段1:【分析题干】题干陈述的内容错误,并不存在“大多数”家长有时不赞成老师的教育方式的情况。 

中间段2:【正负分析】假使真的存在“大多数”家长不赞同的情况,父母直接表达自己的看法的话: pros: 老师有可能会改变自己原有的方式,从而使得小孩以后接受的教育更有效。

cons:老师有可能产生抵触情绪,进而对表达意见的这个家长的小孩产生偏见。

中间段3:【提出建议】根据具体情况来看,如果不影响孩子的信心及心理健康的问题,索性不跟老师沟通,自己私下引导孩子即可;如果会影响到孩子的三观,那么需要跟老师沟通。

19、 Do you agree or disagree: Professional athletes or performers shouldn't be involved in politics.

解析：立场：Agree

开头段：引出现象：With the time booming, more athletes take part in some political fields to own the reputation after their retirement. 引出争论：一方认为不应该进入政治领域，另一方反之。In my eyes, I agree with the former one.

理由段一：因为运动员的专业知识不够，所以会拖慢社会的发展。From the beginning, it is the insufficient professional knowledge of athletes and performers that lower the society development.解释句的写法里面可以涉及到缺乏的专业知识。在论证环节可以用reasoning的方式进行论证，actually, if the athletes involve in the political fields, they lack the information about our society.然后他们就不知道怎么发展社会，怎么进行外交，制定政策。

理由段二：公众不太愿意让运动员进入政治领域，because most athletes receive less education.这边的论证依旧是reasoning论证方式，as they participate in the political, their education cannot make them help the society or the country in a healthy condition.

结尾段：综上所述 according to the above-mentioned reasons,改写两个主题句，（重申自我观点）

20、 Many high school students are doing a lot of school work already. Some people believe that students should help their parents with household chores, since if s the best way to give them a sense of responsibility.

解析：立场：Disagree

开头段：In contemporary society, some people always talk about the responsibility. Some people think that students can develop the sense of responsibility by doing household chores, while others don’t think so. I agree the latter one.

理由段一：养宠物同样可以培养学生的责任感，it is raising pets that can make students be the kind of people who have the strong sense of responsibility.接下来解释句的时候可以说出养动物可以培养学生的耐心（patience），爱心,以此变成有责任感的人。论证环节可以举例子说明，通过人物，事件，结果这一思路详细阐述这个理由。

理由段二：这边可以套用看电视的理由，actually, the time for students is very valuable as they have a plenty of homework, however, doing the household chores will waste time at some extent.这一段的论证环节直接用reasoning的论证方式即可。

结尾段：综上所述 according to the above-mentioned reasons,改写两个主题句，（重申自我观点）

21、 Some people say that students should study many lessons during a semester, but others say that it is better for students to just take three or four lessons. Which do you think is better?

解析：立场 study many lessons

开头段：In contemporary society, education is becoming the priority in our daily life. Some people think that students should learn many lessons during a semester while others hold the opinion that it is beneficial for students to just take three or four lessons. I agree the former one.

理由段一： From the beginning, hardly can students get the overall development with a few lessons in a semester.只有多学习科目才能得到全面发展，在解释句环节可以拓展科目这个内容，比如额外学习的music，history，这些在帮助学生拓展眼界方面起到必不可少的作用，these lessons are indispensable when they come to helping broaden students’ horizon.接下来可以采取编故事的手段进行论证。 

理由段二：学习多门科目可以丰富学生的生活。Learning many lessons in a semester can enrich students’ lives. 解释句部分可以就如何丰富这点加以解释。最后用例证的方式加以论证即可。

解析：立场：Agree

理由段一：因为现在的教育比过去更加advanced，所以人们学习的skills更多。From the beginning, it is the advanced education that makes people learn differing skills.解释句的部分可以对于学习的技能加以解释，比如internet skills, social skills. 然后用例子加以论证即可。

理由段二：现在的技术更加发达，人们可以自己拓展自己的朋友圈，依靠朋友获取成功的人越来越多。Nowadays everyone has his own friend circle, leading them achieve success more easily.解释句的时候可以对于朋友如何帮助的加以解释，比如 invest money, run a cooperation together等，最后用一个例子加以阐述即可。

解析：立场：Agree
